Q: Will you be listing my house on the MLS or actually buying it?
A: We love this question because it goes to the heart of what we do. We are not real estate sales agents who are looking to snag a listing. We are a house buying company who is based here in Sioux Falls. We do not charge fees or commissions like a real estate agent does. We buy houses in As Is condition. Q: How do you determine the price to offer on my house?
A: You’ll find out that we are very straightforward. We are open about how we do business. And we don’t mind explaining our buying process.
Before we give you an offer, we have to look at certain facts. Where is the property located? What have other houses been selling for recently in that neighborhood? What repairs are needed? What’s the current condition of the property?
After we get answers to those questions, we can give you a fair and reasonable offer to buy your house. We try our best to craft an offer that will help get you where you want to be.
Q: Are there any fees or commissions to work with you?
A: No. We do not charge fees or commissions to work with us. Plus we even pay closing costs too. We have tried to remove all the stress and all of the expenses that stop or slow down the house selling process. We want selling your house to be a smooth and hassle-free event.
Q: How are you different from a real estate agent?
A: Real estate agents list properties and hope that someone will come along and buy them. The agent shows the properties to prospective buyers. And the agent makes 3-6 percent commission on the sales price. So that’s $3,000 to $6,000 in commissions on a $100,000 house. Agents provide a helpful service, but it can eat into your budget.
We want to purchase your house. We do not charge you a commission when we buy your house. Most agents only want to list a house that’s in perfect condition so it’s easy to sell.
